"Dinah's Place" is a potpourri of fashion, practical recipes with an epicurean touch,
new tricks in make-up, exercise and diet and "something for the mind" and contemporary
subjects of interest to women.
The Hollywood set is recreated from her own livingroom, kitchen and dining area.
She jokingly hoped they'd call the program "Dinah's Bar and Grille".

*Note: Dinah Shore got a CANCELLATION telegram from NBC brass on the same day she won an EMMY
20-May-1974
