“Seven League Boots” received exclusive rights to send a camera crew to the
actual caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered
to film the remarkable story of how an Arab boy uncovered one of the most
significant archaelogical finds of all times.

Jack Douglas, who has become the James Fitzpatrick of TV travel, debuts another
series called "Seven League Boots" on (13) at 7 pm. today to go
along with his "Search For Adventure" and "Golden Voyage" which are old-hands at
getting good ratings.
"Seven League Boots" is described by Jack as a "walkn', talkin' map of the
world, a variety show of the world" we live in."
Opening show will run for full hour - but next week it'll be cut to. a regular
half hour production. Smugglers in Singapore are seen at their
nefarious work with opium, the Festival of Quimper is witnessed in Brittany, the
Day of the Aga Khan shows the historical steps of a
young student from Harvard to his formal inauguration as Moslem ruler, and then
there's visit to a Belgian night club and also a look at the
famed horse fishermen of Belgium at work.
