Synopsis:
In a small plane, Yale students Neal and Linden Blue take of
from Denver, Colorado, in July 1956, flying thgrough Mexico
and Central America, over the Andes to Chile, across the Argentine
pampas to Buenos Aires, up the east coast of South America, across
the Caribbean, through the West Indies and up the Atlantic Coast to
New Haven. Total time involved: 110 days. Total Distance: 25,000 miles.
En route, the ever sanguine Blue brothers battle high winds, get
quirted by a volcano in El Salvador, quaff native beer with Ecuadorian
head hunters, crack up on a glacial lake in Bolivia, ski in the Andes,
gambol on the beach at Rio and lunch with jungle missionaries. To
finance their odyssey, the Blues borrowed $3,000 in advances from
magazine editors and talked an airplane manufacturer into lending
them a plane. [RF]

Synopsis:
Cameraman Lee Green narrates his adventures with Roy Rogers in "I
Follow the Western Star". The journey begins at the Roy Rogers Ranch in
Chatsworth, Cal. Roy travels to San Pedro Harbor and takes out his
speedboat for a trial run with his racing partner Sy Breen. Roy participates in
two speedboat races. Green then accompanies Rogers on a trip to Alaska
to hunt the giant Kodiak bear and take pictures of it. Their first stop
is Kodiak Island where the party sights a school of gray whales and
fishes for pike. Then they begin the hunt for the Kodiak bear. [RF]
