 Premise:
The original format (1962-65)(seasons 1-3) was set on the South Pacific island of Taratupa during World War II, follows
the relationship between Lt. Commander Quinton McHale commander of Squadron 19 and PT Boat 73, and
Captain Wallace B. Binghamton, the commanding officer who feels his life is plagued by the McHale and his motley crew.
The revised format in (1965-66)(season 4) was set in Voltafiore, Italy, when they are transferred to the European
theatre of war.
