Danziger Productions, Ltd.
Filmed at the Riverside Studios, London, England
US Distributor MCA TV
for
NBC (16Jun56 - 18Aug56)

Executive Producers
Edward J. Danziger   and Harry Lee Danziger
Script Editor: Joseph Losey

(verified for first 3 productions - "Ladies of
Leisure", "Falstaff's Fur Coat", "The Thief of London")

UK Produced Crime Anthology series Filmed 1953-54 13 episodes x 30 min

Shown in the US on NBC in Summer 1956 as "Adventure Theatre" (16June56-1Sep56)
(Summer replacement for NBC's "Your Hit Parade" Saturdays 10:30 pm)
(re-run the following Summer - possibly in the same slot)

Host
Paul Douglas

This summer replacement series for Your Hit Parade,

consisted of filmed plays that were produced in England.

Premise: Paul Douglas would introduce the plays as a storyteller

who on his journey to England returned with various objects such as

a fur coat or a scarf, each led into the story.

In 1957 it reaired with the previous episodes repeated from 1956.

*Note: Not to be confused with Adventure Theater from 1961

which aired repeats of the Schlitz Playhouse episodes.

(Note - this series has no connection with the Merton Park Studios
series "Scotland Yard" of the late '50's hosted by Edgar Lustgarten)
