riverboat "Enterprise", in this weekly hour-long adventure series set in
the 1840s. Burt Reynolds is featured as the pilot of the "Enterprise".

Background:
Before there was the starship Enterprise there was the Riverboat
"Enterprise". Darren McGavin ('Night Stalker') and Burt Reynolds star
as two manly men searching for revenue and adventure onboard a
Riverboat sailing the American Riverways. The series stars didn't
get along at all behind the scenes and Burt Reynolds was replaced by
Noah Berry, Jr. before the show entered it's second season.
