Synopsis:
While attempting to open a new office in Payload Mr. Kelly and Flip have another
encounter with "The O'Mara" (McClory) who has added sheriff, mayor, and
"highwayman" to his occupations. But the casino owner isn't happy with
practically running the town--he intends to go into competition with the
Overland by securing the franchise for transporting gold from the mining
town to Carson City. When he fails in his attempts at buying up all the
horses in the area and Kelly refuses his invitation to go into partnership
with him, O'Mara impounds the Overland's "six-up" team. But the master
trickster Kelly has a plan to ensure that the Overland Stage be the first
to arrive in Carson City while at the same time protecting the gold
shipment from the Deadwood Gang which O'Mara had unknowingly hired as his deputies. (bj)
