with his guests. Adam Clayton Powell was not too happy when the 45-minute
interview was over.
Frost's" first interview with Steele was fun. Steele is well known as a
practical joker and he
described in some detail some of his more elaborate jokes. Following a song by
Cleo Laine
who was hardly identified, Frost introduced his second and final guest, Adam
Clayton Powell.
For nearly 45 minutes Frost and Powell jousted, with the sharp-tongued and
sharp-witted Frost
backing Powell up against the wall over and over again.
