############# West Point Story ##############
################# Feedback  ##################
##############################################
I am in search of a copy of a specific episode of the West Point story. I was born at the academy and lived there for
approximately 12 years, during which time ZIV was producing and filming the West Point series. I am uncertain of the episode
in question, however I do recall it focused around a cadet who was embarrassed by his elderly parents during their visit to
the school. During that particular shooting I was filmed in the bleachers during a baseball game. I am unsure if you have
access to series tapes or know where I may acquire one, but I'd like to purchase that episode in a DVD or VHS format.
I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in this matter. Thanks in Advance,

As a kid I used to watch the show every Friday night. I wish we have had a VCR to tape the shows. When so many old TV series
were coming out on Video, I hoped West Point and Annapolis would come out but they did not. I then traced down the company
that had the rights which was MGM. They wanted $200 a show. My husband and were Air Force Officers and our oldest son was
interested in attending an academy. We tried to find some of the series but never did before he became a Marine Officer.
However our daughter and youngest son did graduate from West Point and many things have not changed from the original show.

Last fall the AOG at West Point offered the entire series for sale through a company they had contracted with. That company
charged about $280 for the 39 show series. However, they were very poor at marketing, they came out with the sale in Nov.
and people were thinking about Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I paid but the money was refunded. I told them they should try
again but I’ve never seen the sale offered. They did send me one show. I had been able to get about 5 others over the years.
If you know a source where I could purchase the set let me know. I have the originals with Post cereal ads and Folgers coffee.

I loved that show and wanted to go to West Point so bad but they did not take women. It really stuck with me and to think
that later 2 of my 3 children would graduate from there is unbelievable.

I remember an episode that does not appear on the series description list where a cadet turned in a engineering paper
that predicted a precise point on the grounds that the Academy’s water system would fail if all the faucets and toilets
were turn on and off or flushed at the same instant. He got a failing grade on the paper from the instructor who
considered the paper pure fantasy. Consequently, the cadet set out to prove his calculations were correct by having the
corps of cadets execute the experiment to coincide with the instructor’s passing the predicted breach point. Could
this episode be the missing one?
