The eighth season opens with Karen being held hostage by the mysterious man
in the farm house. An anxious Mack, Michael, and Eric wait by the phone for
a phone call from a kidnapper. Ben decides not to go on tour with Cathy and
returns home to Val and the kids. Ben is summoned by a mysterious woman
from his past named Jean. Jean and her "organization" are attempting to
keep tabs on Greg Sumner and want Ben to work for them. Greg continues his
support of Peter for the state senate, and in the process reveals to him
the he has no intention of cleaning up the pollution at Empire Valley until
he puts Lotus Point out of business. Paige brings an old photograph of Mack
and her mother which spurs some flashbacks of the time when they dated.

Karen's disappearance continues to baffle Mack and the authorities. Mac
also reminisces about his past with Paige's mother Anne. Karen wonders why
she is being held captive and why her kidnapper is acting like he knows
her. After discovering that Greg is not cleaning up Empire Valley, Gary
decides to run against Peter for the state senate, using the clean up as
his main campaign issue. To complicate matters, Jill decides to run Gary's
campaign which does not please brother Peter. Jean continues to hound Ben
about his working for the organization.

Karen's hostage situation continues, although she begins to learn more
about her captor. Mack was somehow responsible for her captor being sent to
prison and losing touch with his wife who later died. He wants Mack to
suffer without his wife the same way he did for over a year. The campaign
between Gary and Peter heats up with Abby trying to play on both sides.
Feeling pressure from Jean, Ben eases up his assaults on Peter's campaign.
Michael and Paige continue to grow closer, as Paige tells Michael more of
Mack and her mother's history together. Anne was very much in love with
Mack, but he was hesitant due to her family's money and high social
standing. Greg gets a visit from an old law school buddy named Phil
Harbert, who turns out to be the same man who is holding Karen hostage.

After talking with Phil, Greg begins to suspect that he had something to do
with Karen's disappearance. Through flashbacks, it is revealed that Phil
and Mack had a falling out after law school. Phil was sent to prison and
lost his wife Julie after Mack testified against the mob group that Phil
was working for. Greg insists that Phil undo whatever it is he's done with
Karen. Meanwhile, Phil panics and sets fire to the farmhouse when he hears
a fake police report saying his fingerprints were found on Karen's car.
Mack and Paige have lunch together and talk about the summer that Mack and
Anne fell in love. Gary pulls ahead in the senate race after he honestly
reveals his checkered past. Peter decides that Greg can release a story
that a married Gary is involved with Jill.
8.5 (165) Knots Landing: "SLOW BURN"

Phil sets the rest of the farmhouse on fire, but Karen manages to break her
way out. She runs into the woods, but Phil eventually tracks her down at a
neighbor's barn. Meanwhile, Greg calls a friend in the police department to
get a trace on Phil's license plate. When Greg arrives at Phil's address he
discovers the burned down farmhouse. Later, Greg discovers Phil trying to
break into the barn where Karen is hiding. Greg quietly stops Phil and
tells him to get out of town and never come back. Later, Mack receives a
phone call with the news that Karen has been found. Mack rushes to the
scene and he and Karen are finally reunited. However, Phil does not leave
town as Greg requested. After Abby threatens to expose him as a fraud,
Peter publicly puts to rest the story about Jill sleeping with Gary. Greg
wonders what it is that Abby is holding over young Peter.

Karen comes home, and she and Mack try to put their lives back in order.
Mack tells Karen about Paige and then brings her over for a visit. At first
glance, Karen seems suspicious of Paige. Laura tells Greg that the police
found two sets of tire tracks outside the barn where Karen was hiding. Greg
quickly gets his tires changed and then calls the police about his
suspicions of Phil. Phil, who has still not left town, comes to Greg and
begs him for help or else he will tell the police that Greg put him up to
the kidnapping. The police inform Mack that Greg gave them a tip about Phil
possibly being the kidnapper. Mack and Karen later confront Greg about Phil
at his office. Olivia, craving attention and a reconciliation between Gary
and Abby, gets suspended from school and is arrested for driving without a
license. In addition, she continues to secretly use drugs. Gary walks in on
Abby and Peter in bed, then misses an important debate while bailing Olivia out
of jail.
8.7 (167) Knots Landing: "ALL OVER BUT THE SHOUTING"

As election day approaches, the campaign between Peter and Gary
intensifies. Ben decides to endorse Peter after Jean and her organization
threaten his family. The endorsement does not sit well with boss Abby, who
continues to play on both sides of the fence between Gary and Peter. Paige
and Michael continue to grow closer and kiss for the first time. Election
day arrives and Peter scores a narrow victory over Gary, which secretly
pleases Abby. Greg tells Mack and Karen that he had nothing to do with the
kidnapping, but Mack does not believe him. Greg reluctantly decides to help
Phil get out of the country, and puts him up in a hotel room until he can
make all of the arrangements. An impatient Phil decides to order a pizza,
which leads to his cover being blown when the pizza delivery man sees his
reflection. The delivery man calls Mack and tells him he knows where the
man is who kidnapped Karen.
8.8 (168) Knots Landing: "PRESSURE POINTS"

After the delivery boy reveals to Mack the hotel where Phil is hiding, the
police immediately go to the hotel to apprehend him. Meanwhile, Greg calls
Phil and instructs him to wait across the street. As Phil waits, Mack and
the police arrive. A bystander notices Phil and shouts to the police as
Greg arrives. Not wanting his cover blown, Greg does not pick up Phil. Phil
runs into the street after him and gets struck by a car. He later dies, but
manages to tell Mack that Greg put him up to the kidnapping. Knowing that
Phil was a chronic liar, Mack realizes that Greg is completely innocent.
Peter's "mother" Sylvia begins to be a bit revealing in public about
Peter's identity and later blackmails Peter by threatening to reveal the
truth about him. After picking up Sylvia's blood pressure medicine, Peter
realizes he can quiet Sylvia by tricking her into overdosing on the
medication. Abby throws a Lotus Point re- opening party. Abby and Greg try
to pressure Peter into being on the senate committees that are best for their
agendas.
8.9 (169) Knots Landing: "BROTHERS AND MOTHERS"

Mack and Karen invite Paige to come and live with them. Eric walks in on
Michael and Paige in the bedroom, which leads to an intense fight between
brothers. Ben decides to write an exclusive expose of Peter and his mother,
which makes Abby a bit nervous due to her involvement with the senator.
Meanwhile, Peter continues to confuse and trick Sylvia into overdosing on
her medicine to keep her quiet. He later feels overwhelming guilt and has a
change of heart, but when he goes to check on Sylvia, she is nowhere to be
found. Jean tells her partner in the organization that Ben's real
"assignment" is to kill Greg. A production company wants Val to write a
movie script based on Capricorn Crude.

Peter waits around all night for a missing Sylvia and when she doesn't
show, he goes to Jill for help and advice. Gary is perplexed when Jill
leaves to be with Peter. Later, Abby calls Peter and informs him that
Sylvia is staying at the ranch because she is afraid of him. A frustrated
Gary has one last night with Abby then gives Jill an ultimatum regarding
Peter. Laura confides in Karen that she'd like to get pregnant again, but
is not sure how Greg will react to the idea. Meanwhile, suspicion about
Paige continues to grow. First, Karen becomes suspicious of Paige's
relationship with Michael. Then Paige tries to sell an heirloom when one of
her checks doesn't clear. Dissatisfied with Ben's performance thus far,
Jean finds a way to meet Greg herself by sabotaging his car and pretending
it was his fault. Jill and Peter meet and have an argument, which leads to
Jill accidentally falling off a cliff.
8.11 (171) Knots Landing: "A TURN OF EVENTS"

Peter finally goes to a phone and calls to report Jill's accident. She is
rescued and rushed to the hospital, but is in critical condition. Ben and
the police suspect Peter had something to do with the accident. Greg
becomes increasingly frustrated with Peter's antics and tells him to clean
up his act or his career will be ruined. Meanwhile, a witness to Jill's
accident tells Ben that Peter was with Jill when she fell from the cliff.
As Jill is being rushed to surgery it is revealed that she was pregnant,
but lost the baby due to her fall. Sylvia writes a letter explaining the
entire plot she and Peter hatched. Then she gives it to a lawyer with the
provision that if anything happens to her, the letter should be released to
the press. As insurance, she writes a duplicate letter and gives it to
Olivia. Sylvia tells Olivia to give the letter to Gary if anything strange
happens to her. Karen's suspicions of Paige are confirmed when she finds
Paige and Michael in bed together.
8.12 (172) Knots Landing: "TOUCH AND GO"

Ben questions Peter about being at the scene of Jill's accident, which
Peter flatly denies. Ben decides not to air the story, which does not sit
well with Jean. He decides to wait until Jill wakes up from her coma so
that she can confirm or deny the story. Attempting to silence the story,
Abby breaks into Ben's computer and discovers the identity of the
eyewitness. She relays the information to Greg, who in turn helps to
discredit the eyewitness. The eyewitness turns out to be someone Jean and
her organization planted in order to start rumors of involvement between
Peter and Jill. Ben's last hope is the 911 tape that may have Peter's voice
on it. Greg stays one step ahead by arranging for the tape to be stolen and
then he personally erases it. When Jill finally wakes up, she asks to see
Peter. Karen and Mack confront Paige and Michael separately about them
sleeping together. Paige agrees with Karen and Mack that they should not
sleep together anymore and breaks off the relationship with Michael. Paige
gives Mack a letter her mother wrote to him, but never sent before she
died. Ben thinks Val's new assistant is secretly working for Jean and was
sent to spy on him and the family.
8.13 (173) Knots Landing: "THE INSIDE MAN"

Peter asks Jill to tell Ben that he was not with her at the time of the
accident. Jill agrees, but tells Peter she is severing all ties with him.
Later, fearing he is a liability, Greg asks Peter to sign a will listing
him as the beneficiary. Peter is not amused and refuses to sign it.
Meanwhile, Abby pawns Sylvia off on Greg and Laura. Greg later informs
Sylvia that she won't be staying too long and arranges a new home for her
overseas. When Ben shows up to interview Sylvia, Greg heads him off by
asking him to work for him. Ben considers the offer, thinking it would
protect his family from Jean and the organization. Michael keeps trying to
reconcile with Paige, but she now has interest in Peter. Karen reads Anne's
letter, but thinks Paige really wrote it. Ben confronts Val's new
secretary, thinking he was sent by Jean and the agency.
8.14 (174) Knots Landing: "GIFTS"

Ben quits his job at the station and goes to work for Greg as press
secretary in Peter's administration. Jean is overjoyed that Ben is now
inside Greg's organization. Unknown to Ben, Jean is not part of any
government organization. Michael informs Mack and Karen that he is moving
out of the house, but later, sees Paige with Peter and realizes it's over
between them. He decides not to move out, but Karen has had enough of Paige
and decides to put in a call to her grandparents. Paige's grandfather
informs Karen that his granddaugter is dead. Meanwhile, Laura reveals to
Greg that she is pregnant, but Greg is not very pleased. Gary and Abby give
Olivia a car for Christmas. Later, Olivia and Lilimae have an accident as a
result of Olivia's continued drug usage.
8.15 (175) Knots Landing: "TRUTH WILL OUT"

Olivia and Lilimae come out of the accident okay. However, Lilimae gives
Abby some drugs she found in Olivia's car. Olivia maintains the drugs do
not belong to her, but Abby is not convinced and searches her room for more
drugs. Meanwhile, Olivia sneaks off to the barn to get high. Later, Olivia
steals some money from Abby to buy more drugs. However, Abby follows Olivia
to the drug buy and intercepts her. Paige's grandfather makes contact with
Karen and informs her that Paige is dead. Later, Paige tells Karen and Mack
that she faked her own death to get away from her grandparents. Mack
believes Paige, but Karen goes to the library for proof. Karen convinces
Mack to call the Winstons about Paige. Winston tells Mack that Paige's
mother Anne is alive. Gary finds Jill's high school year book which has a
picture of her and Peter. Gary also finds a message on the back that
reveals they are brother and sister. Gary gives Jill opportunity to tell
him the truth. Greg and Laura continue to argue over Laura's pregnancy.
Greg maintains the world is not ready for another Greg Sumner.
8.16 (176) Knots Landing: "THE UNRAVELING"

Mack and Karen exchange their findings about Paige. Mack also tells Karen
that Anne is alive. Mack confronts Paige about her lies. Paige maintains
that she only lied to protect herself and Mack. Mack and Karen bring
Paige's grandfather to see her. Paige finally tells Mack she has been lying
to hurt him and Anne because they were never real parents to her. Karen
convinces Mack to talk to Anne about Paige. Meanwhile, Abby begins to
uncover the magnitude of Olivia's drug problem. Apparently Olivia has been
lying and stealing to finance her habit. After Abby cuts her off, Olivia
gets a job selling drugs to make money. When she tries to steal some of the
drugs, her employer is there to stop her. Abby informs Olivia that she is
locking her in the house with her. Jill finally fesses up to Gary that she
is Peter's sister. Jill insists that Gary not tell anyone about her
identity. Laura and Greg continue to disagree about the baby.

Mack heads to New York to see Anne and Karen can't help but feel a bit
insecure and jealous. Worried about her looks, she gets Val to stretch out
her sweater in the famous sweater stretch scene. Mack and Winston patch up
their differences as they wait for Anne to return. Finally, Anne returns
and pays Mack a visit at the hotel. Meanwhile, Olivia's drug problems
escalate when Abby catches her sneaking out and later locked in the
bathroom to do drugs. Later, Olivia tells Brian she needs him to pick up
some homework. Unknown to Brian, the pickup was for more drugs. When Abby
intercepts the payment Brian is beat up by the supplier. Unable to deal
with guilt over Brian's injuries, Olivia turns over all her drugs to Abby.
8.18 (178) Knots Landing: "MY TRUE LOVE"

Anne and Mack reacquaint themselves after twenty years. Mack tells Anne
that he never looked for her because he thought she did not want to be
found. Anne tells Mack that she always thought her father paid Mack off to
break up with her. Meanwhile, Paige warns Karen that her mother's visit
will certainly cause problems. Later, Mack and Anne head to Knots Landing
to reunite with Paige. However, Paige avoids the reunion by moving in with
Peter. Olivia attends her first AA meeting and tries to cope with her drug
problem. Gary serves Abby with divorce papers. Even though the settlement
is quite generous, Abby maintains it is not enough. Jean coerces Ben into
planting a bug in Greg's office, but Greg electronic sweeper later finds
the bug. Jean then gets Ben to break into Greg's computer to get the secret
access code. Just as Ben is finishing the operation the office door begins to
open.
8.19 (179) Knots Landing: "NEVER TRICK A TRICKSTER"

Ben is relieved to see it is only Jason looking for his math book. Ben
gives the access code to Jean. As Greg makes stock inquiries on his
computer, Jean and her group are there to buy them out from under him. Greg
in turn makes some false inquiries which causes Jean and her group to lose
millions of dollars. Ben is delighted to see them mess up until Jean
announces his new assignment. Ben's assignment is to kill Greg. Paige
returns home to face her parents. The sparks immediately fly between Anne
and Paige, and later Paige announces she is not going back to New York with
her mother. Anne decides to stay in Knots Landing as well, which makes
Karen a bit nervous. Gary reluctantly gives Abby three million dollars for
the ranch in the divorce settlement. Abby uses some of the money to buy a new
house at the beach.
8.20 (180) Knots Landing: "A PLAN OF ACTION"

organization will kill him and his family. Meanwhile, a truck runs Val off
the road, prompting Ben to tell her about his checkered past with Jean and
what she has been blackmailing him to do. Ben also realizes that Jean does
not work for the same organization they did in college. He figures it is
some kind of illegal operation and tries to sneak Val and the family out of
town. However, Jean intercepts them before they can get away. Abby gives
Paige a job at Lotus Point. Laura moves back to the cul-de-sac after Greg
does not budge on being a parent. Anne accuses Karen of trying to keep she,
Paige, and Mack apart.

revise their plans. Greg tells Ben he's going by the office to pick up some
papers before he leaves on his trip. Ben arrives ahead of Greg to kill him.
Meanwhile, Mack manages to sneak Val, Lilimae, and the kids out of the
club. Jean rushes over to the office to see if Ben completed the
assignment. She hears a shot fired from Ben's office and assumes Greg is
dead. Peter gets more involved with Paige, which makes it harder for him to
keep both her and Abby happy. Gary and Jill announce that they are getting
married.

Jean tries to assure her contact that Greg is dead and his body was taken
out to the ranch. Val, Lilimae, and the kids arrive home the next morning.
However, Ben is missing. Val pleads with Mack to tell her where Ben is, but
Mack tells her just to tell everyone Ben is away on a business trip. Later,
Jean stops by and asks Val if Ben has made contact with her yet. Val
refuses to give her any information. Jean tells Val if Greg Sumner is not
dead, Ben and his family soon will be dead. Then she leaks a story to the
press that Greg's company is covering up his death. The news sends
shockwaves through Knots Landing. Laura moves back to the ranch and
anxiously waits for news about her husband. Abby advises Peter to position
himself for a possible inheritance of Greg's company. Later, Peter makes a
statement to the press assuring them that Greg's company is running
smoothly. Val goes to the ranch to be with Laura. Later, Greg shows up at
the ranch. Val is stunned and fears that Ben is dead.

Val is sure that Ben is dead and Jean is responsible. She goes out and
begins searching for Jean. Along the way, Val goes to Gary's ranch and
takes one of his guns. The news of Greg's return reaches Jean and her
contact, who orders Jean to take care of Greg. Mack and Greg make plans to
take care of Jean and her contact in case they make another attempt on
Greg's life. Later, Greg scolds Peter for trying to grab his empire while
he was gone. As expected, Jean shows up at a hotel to make her move. Greg
coaxes her into inviting him up to a room where he reveals to her that he
paid a visit to her boss. He also tells her all of her partners have been
neutralized. It turns out Jean works for an international group of
investors who used to work with Paul Galveston. They wanted to control
Greg, but when they couldn't Jean used Ben to get Greg assassinated. She
used damaging information about Ben from when they were in college to
blackmail him. Mack and the police arrive and Jean is apprehended.
Meanwhile, Val takes Gary's gun and goes to Jean's store to kill her, but
almost shoots a cleaning lady instead. Gary arrives to stop her in time.
Gary misses his marriage trip with Jill, which makes Jill wonder about
Gary's feelings. Mack reveals that Ben was the one taken to Greg's ranch
after Greg was supposedly killed. Now that Jean was in custody, Ben returns
home to Val and the kids, but still has nightmares that Jean comes back to
kill his family.
8.24 (184) Knots Landing: "NEIGHBORLY CONDUCT"

Ben is shocked to hear that Jean is not dead, but just exiled to South
America. Ben demands Greg do something about her, but Greg can only tell
Ben that he's paranoid, then fire him. Ben begins to think every woman that
looks like Jean is Jean herself. Mack and Karen are very surprised when
Anne moves in next door. Anne invites Mack and Karen to a dinner party
where she tries to make Mack jealous by bringing a date. Later, Anne tricks
Mack into coming over so she can tempt him into having an affair. Jill
questions Gary about his feelings for her, then goes to Val to see if she
is still in love with Gary. Peter asks Olivia to speak to other kids about
drugs. Then Peter showers Olivia with compliments and charm. Olivia starts
developing a major crush on him and makes the mistake of telling Paige.
Olivia also tells Paige about the letter Sylvia gave her. Meanwhile, Abby
does her best to keep Peter all to herself. Paige is not pleased with
Abby's motives. She later tells Peter about Olivia's crush and the letter from
Sylvia.
8.25 (185) Knots Landing: "DEADLY COMBINATION"

Anne keeps Mack at her place for a while with pizza and beer. Then she
plays some music from the old days. Mack can't help but have a good time
and be tempted. Karen is very upset when Mack returns home very late. Anne
continues to show up around Mack constantly which upsets Karen even more.
Finally, Mack tells Anne he does not love her anymore and wants her to
leave. Distraught, Anne writes a suicide note and overdoses on pills. Abby
asks Peter to name Olivia as youth advisor on his drug commission. Peter
figures this is a good way to warm up to Olivia so he can get Sylvia's
letter. Val goes to Greg for some answers about Jean. Greg has no answers
and Laura, still angry at Val for not telling her about the situation,
tells Val to leave. Ben tells Val they should move and start over in
another town. Val convinces him to stay, so Ben gets an alarm system
installed. When Lilimae accidentally trips the alarm Ben attacks her thinking it
was Jean.
8.26 (186) Knots Landing: "OUR SECRET"

Anne passes out from the pill overdose and dreams about Mack. Meanwhile,
Mack wonders why Anne is not answering the door or telephone when he tries
to reach her and say good-bye. Finally, Mack notices her passed out on the
floor and breaks in a window to save her. At the hospital, Mack is guilty
and shaken by Anne's attempted suicide, but Paige maintains it is her
mother's usual theatrics. Later, Anne has another dream about Mack, but
suddenly Greg appears and takes Mack's place. Paige is quite amused by
Olivia's crush on Peter, but Peter is more concerned with getting Sylvia's
letter, especially when he finds out she has recently died. Olivia admits
to her mother that she likes someone, but Abby has no idea it is the man
she has been sleeping with for months. Later, Peter angers Paige by
breaking their date so he can spend the evening with Abby. Michael tells
Olivia that Paige has been seeing Peter, but Olivia does not believe him.
Michael mentions his conversation with Olivia to Karen who relays it to
Abby. Peter puts his plan of getting the letter into high gear by
presenting Olivia with a locket signed with love. Ben tries to convince Val
and Lilimae to keep the alarm system. Lilimae finally remembers to turn off
the system when going for late night tea, but forgets to turn it back on.
Ben is enraged the next morning when he sees the disengaged alarm. Val
begins to worry about his mental state. Gary asks Jill to get married
again. Finally, when leaving for their trip they run into Peter at the
airport picking up Sylvia's body. Gary wonders why Jill is not affected by
Sylvia's death. He decides now is not a good time to get married.
8.27 (187) Knots Landing: "BREAKUP"

Anne is released from the hospital and continues trying to manipulate Mack.
Anne is exposed however when Mack overhears her telling Karen the whole
scheme to get his sympathy. Mack reveals to Anne he knows the truth by
treating her to some good old fashion cul-de-sac hospitality. Anne leaves
Knots Landing, but not before telling Mack that Greg is Paige's real
father. Abby tries to tell Olivia that she is making too much of Peter's
actions. Olivia tells her mother that Peter gave her a locket and a kiss.
Abby is enraged and orders Peter to stay away from Olivia or she will tell
Greg the truth about him. Paige tells Olivia that Sylvia died. Olivia
wonders whether she should give the letter to Peter or Gary. She decides to
attend Sylvia's funeral to console Peter. Meanwhile, Gary tells Peter to
invite Jill to the funeral since Sylvia was her mother. At the funeral,
Peter tells Olivia he knows about the letter and that Sylvia told him she
should give it to him. Peter gives Olivia a kiss just as Abby arrives. Abby
informs Greg to get Peter in line or she will go to the press and expose
him. Greg convinces her to keep quiet if he keeps Peter away from Olivia.
Greg tells Peter he knows the truth and to stay away from Olivia. Peter
says he can't because he is trying to get the letter from Sylvia. Greg
quickly relays the information to Abby who searches Olivia's room for the
letter. Olivia is already on her way to give the letter to Peter. When she
arrives at Peter's apartment, she sees Paige in a towel. Rejected, Olivia
rushes to a mailbox and mails the letter to Gary. Val tells Ben she is
worried about him. Lilimae convinces Ben to ask Abby for his job at the
station back for the kids' sake. Ben decides he would never work for Abby
again just as she is about to turn him down. Later, Ben hits rock bottom as
he hallucinates that Val is Jean.
8.28 (188) Knots Landing: "PARENTAL GUIDANCE"

Mack informs Karen of Anne's shocking news about Paige. Karen then
remembers that Paige is dating Peter, whom everyone assumes is Greg's
brother. Mack pays Greg a visit to talk about Anne. Greg insists he cannot
be Paige's father. Meanwhile, Paige and Peter discuss marriage. Olivia
comes home in tears and tells Abby about seeing Paige at Peter's apartment.
Abby asks Olivia about the letter and Olivia tells her that she sent it to
Gary. Peter goes to Jill and asks her to intercept the letter. Later, Jill
gets the letter and destroys it. Peter tells Abby if she marries him, he'll
get rid of Paige. When Paige tells Peter she wants to set a wedding date,
he tells her to get lost. Later, Abby tells Peter to get lost. Ben finally
reaches his breaking point and realizes how he's been acting. He goes out
to get a journalist assignment in South America. Along the way, Ben pays
Gary a strange visit to thank him for letting him be the twins father. The
next day, Ben leaves for his assignment, promising to call Val every night
at nine. Mack and Karen tell Paige that Greg could be her real father.
Paige thinks that is why Peter did not want to marry her. Laura gives birth to a
baby girl.
8.29 (189) Knots Landing: DO NOT FOLD, SPINDLE, OR MUTILATE

Paige calls her grandfather and asks him about Greg dating her mother. He
tells Paige all he remembers is Greg coming to pick up Anne so that he
would think they were dating. Paige then goes to Greg and he reaffirms the
story. Abby fires Paige for hurting Olivia, but Karen later rehires her.
Greg orders Peter to clean up his act and make nice with his enemies. Peter
tries to make up with Jill, Olivia, Abby, and Paige, but is met with only
more animosity. Paige tells Olivia that she was not the only one sleeping
with Peter. Olivia's own mother was his lover as well. Later, Abby hears
Olivia in the club. When she walks in, she sees Olivia kneeling on the
floor over Peter's dead body. Ben calls Val at nine, but he seems a bit
reluctant about giving her his whereabouts. When she calls the news bureau,
they tell her Ben is not working for them. Val is sure something is wrong.
8.30 (190) Knots Landing: CEMENT THE RELATIONSHIP

When she sees Olivia with Peter, Abby is sure Olivia killed him. Abby tells
Olivia to go home and not tell anyone about
Peter. She tries to hide Peter's body in the DJ booth and barely does so before
Karen walks into the club. Abby calls Peter
and leaves a message to make it look like everything is fine. Then she calls to
check on Olivia, but Olivia is not in the
mood to talk to anyone. Abby spends the whole day in the club to watch to DJ
booth. Eric tells Abby and Karen about the
concrete being poured at the children's park the next day. Abby figures that is
as good a place as any to dispose of Peter's
body. Meanwhile, Olivia goes to visit Gary and tries to tell him about Peter
until Jill walks into the room. Gary follows
her home and stays with her, but Olivia will still not tell him anything. Later,
Abby takes Peter out to the park and
buries him in the concrete forms. However, she has to return and dig him up
again to get keys so she can move his car.
The next day, the concrete is poured and Abby is relieved the nightmare is over.
Later, Karen notices a huge crack in the
cement and figures it might have to be repoured. Greg goes looking for Peter and
figures something really wrong has
happened to him. Ben does not call Val anymore, and she begins to realize Ben is
not coming back. She tells Lilimae Ben
had a plan, he went to find Jean Hackney to make sure she would not harm them
anymore. Gary and Jill decide not to get
married.
