Greg and Paul leave Idaho to seek fame and fortune as songwriters. They are
helped by their Uncle Mickey Durbin,
who has a connection at Paragon Records - or so he thinks. His connection has
passed on, and the new man in charge
(Frederick J. Hanover) refuses to see them - that is, until his dad, the devil,
demands two more souls by the end of
the day. Hanover then attempts to turn the songwriters into singing, songwriting
and performing superstars overnight.
What Greg and Paul don't yet know is that they must sign a contract "selling
their souls to the devil
in exchange for a year at the top." [RL]
