Premise:
Live sitcom featuring the misadventures of two reluctant privates (Hal
and Tom) who find nothing but
trouble while attempting to complete their hitch with the army. Hal March and
Tom D'Andrea had previously played
the characters on several variety shows including "Colgate
Comedy Hour"
Background:
Tom D'Andrea later featured in "The
Life Of Riley " as Jim Gillis (1953-58) and "Dante"
as Biff (1960-61)

A live sitcom.
Written by Hal March & Tom D'Andrea.
Hal and Tom help a GI who is depressed because he can't be with his wife on
their anniversary. He sent her his
entire salary for a round trip bus ticket so that they could be together on his
3 day pass, but now he has no money
left to wine and dine her. Hal and Tom step in to raise money for the GI, and
their efforts get them thrown in jail. [RL]
