he starred in numerous 'Andy Hardy' movies many with Judy Garland,
and won a special Academy Award for 'Boy's Town' in 1938.

In 1954-55 Mickey Rooney starred in the tv comedy series
'Hey Mulligan' aka 'The Mickey Rooney Show' for NBC
