Synopsis:
In a sketch, Jack and the gang show what a Jack Benny program will be like 30 years from now. [JB]
Synopsis:
In the opening segment, Benny misses the opening of his show because he has fallen asleep in his
dressing room. In his monologue, he mentions that he fell asleep because his show is now on later
in the evening. Don and the Sportsmen Quartet keep doing commercials for their old sponsor, Lucky,
rather than their new one, Lux. Dennis sings 'While we're young.' In the sketch, Jack imagines how
his cast will all look 30 years from now.

Synopsis:
Jack travels to Independence, MO, for a visit with his friend Harry S. Truman. He finds the former President in his
office at the Harry S. Truman Library. Mr. Truman explains the purpose of the library---to preserve documents and
objects connected with the office of the Presidency. Adjourning to the Presidents’ Room, Mr. Truman describes the
many facets of the Presidency and shows Jack memorabilia illustrating these facets. As they look over these exhibits,
the two men converse informally and trade quips. [JB]
Synopsis:
In the opening sketch, the director says the show is too long, but Benny refuses to do the show unless they put back
the line about his blue eyes. Instead, he insists that the Sportsmen Quartet do the Minute waltz commercial for Lux
Soap in 40 seconds. In the main sketch, Benny does a benefit concert in Kansas City, and Truman invites him on a
tour of the Harry S. Truman Library in Independence, Missouri.

 Synopsis:
This show starts out with Jack reading some fan mail he received, instead of doing a monologue of jokes. One letter asks
Jack if he is as stingy and cheap in his personal life and has enclosed a stamped self-addressed envelope. Jack says
there is no need to reply and tears off the stamp and sticks it in his pocket. Jack then tells about running into Jimmy
Stewart and Jack says that Jimmy "begged him" to come to Jimmy & Gloria's wedding anniversary dinner and the story starts
there with the night club scene. Jimmy is telling Gloria that Jack Benny is joining them at the night club and
is bringing a date. Jack shows up with "Mildred Meyerhouser", played by Barbara Nichols and Mildred dances, then
sings to Jimmy, starts a yelling match with another couple on the dance floor and definitely attracts unwanted attention
to the Stewart's. Mel Blanc is the waiter and Richard Reeves plays the part of a second-team Hollywood High football
fullback when he shows up with his date, played by Shirley Mitchell. At the end of the show, Jimmy tells Jack that it
isn't really their anniversary and when Jack asks when it really is, Jimmy and & Gloria tell him different dates at
the same time. [SJ]

Synopsis:
Dennis sings 'Sinner man.' In the sketch, the Jack Benny Fan Club, Pasadena Chapter, has asked Jack to play the violin at their
meeting. He plays 'Love in bloom,' and 'Swanee River,' and is joined by a small band made up of some of the members of the club,
who jazz up the performance.

Synopsis 1:
Jack relates how he found Shandu the Magician in Ben Blue's restaurant and got him to appear on his show.
Synopsis 2:
Ben Blue, known as Chandu The Magician in his nightclub act gets Jack to participate onstage, where Chandu is inside of
a bag and Jack has to shoot him with a gun. Later, Blue suddenly disappears and Jack has to take over as Chandu with
assistance from Dennis Day with hillarious results! [JB]
