Premise:
Ethnic comedy about an Italian-American Opera singer, a widower who feels that
he has become a stranger to his 6 children and decides give up his career to
spend
more time with his family.
Background
This short-lived NBC sitcom was done live at the same theater as "Mr. Peepers",
the
Center Theater in New York City.
In fact, the show is also, like "Mr. Peepers", a Fred Coe production. [RL]

Synopsis:
Ezio Pinza portrays opera singer Bonino, and manages to sing at least one tune
in
each episode. In this episode, Bonino regrets that he is gone on tour most of
the
time, and doesn't get to spend enough time with family. These regrets are
amplified
when Bonino forgets his own grandson's birthday, and then tries to make up for
it by
cancelling a photo op to be at the birthday party. [RL]
