*Many thanks to Randy Bonneville
Editor of Movie-TV-Radio Revue for the following correction and trivia.
The host for the series was Arthur Shields, not Fields.
Shields was a noted stage and film actor from Ireland’s Abbey Players
who also happened to be the real-life brother of Oscar-winning character actor
Barry Fitzgerald. In fact, both men have roles in the classic film THE QUIET MAN (1952);
Fitzgerald plays Michaeleen Flynn and Shields is seen as Rev. Cyril Playfair.
