Scott, Bob, and Lassie nurse a wounded wolf.

Scott and Lassie help a Job Corps volunteer who just isn't making the grade.

A pet chimpanzee is ennerved by construction.
16.04 "No Margin for Error" (10/19/69):
Scott must rescue a boy trapped by a bomb.

Lassie helps a fawn that has been trapped in a water trough.
16.06 "Survival" (11/02/69):
Scott is endangered in a helicopter crash.

Scott helps a boy and his widowed father.

Lassie and Neeka hunt a bantam chick who is constantly wandering into

Bob and Lassie rescue a cow being swept downriver in the Columbia River.

Scott and Lassie help a blind girl who is attending a camp for blind
children.
16.11 "The Chase" (12/14/69):
Scott and Lassie help a doe who has been chased to exhaustion by
snowmobilers.
16.12 "The Blessing" (12/21/69):
A Mexican boy sneaks over the border to take his deaf dog to a mission that
is known for its miracles.
16.13 "Superstition Canyon" (12/28/69):
Lassie babysits a prospector's burro.
16.14 "The Road Back" part 1 (01/04/70):
Scott and Lassie, in San Francisco's Chinatown for a mini-forest project,
befriend the children in a Chinese school. Lassie is struck by a car while
saving one of the children and appears to have amnesia. When a fire strikes
the vet's office she's staying at, she escapes to the streets with no idea
where she belongs.
16.15 "The Road Back" part 2 (01/11/70):
Lassie's search for her identity takes her to a wax museum and finally down
to the waterfront, where she is befriended by a down-on-his-luck young
fisherman with a family and a boat loan he can't pay.
16.16 "The Road Back" part 3 (01/18/70):
Heading back to San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge, Lassie befriends
a lonely runaway teenager and a lonely soldier, then is mistaken for a
possibly rabid collie named Tawny.
16.17 "The Road Back" part 4 (01/25/70):
Her memory recovering, but still hunted by health officials as a rabid dog,
Lassie is chased through San Francisco streets.
16.18 "Winged Rescue" (02/01/70):
Lassie and Neeka are lost in the desert.
16.19 "The Cliff" (02/08/70):
Neeka injures his leg while exploring the ruins.
16.20 "Warm Heart--Cold Nose" (02/15/70):
Lassie teaches an indolent sheepdog what to do with a flock of sheep.
16.21 "Whitewater Fury" (03/01/70):
Lassie is poisoned by "pink snow" while she is on a river trip.
16.22 "Chucka" (03/08/70):
Lassie helps a guide dog whose master's wife was hurt.
