Jerry and Lassie's son Blacktail visit the farm, when the Martins find out
Jerry can walk without his brace, but is afraid to try. Jerry: Charles
Herbert.

7.02 "The Wallaby" (09/18/59):
Something's raiding the family garden, but the large mysterious tracks
puzzle everyone. Flip: Flip Mark.

7.04 "The Rescue" (10/02/60):
Timmy is trapped on a ledge while chasing a sheep.

7.05 "Feathered Menace" (10/09/60):
Ruth is babysitting twins when she is called on an emergency, and she leaves
Timmy and Lassie to care for the babies for a few hours--but a fractious
goose has other ideas.

7.06 "The Gentle Tiger" (10/16/60):
Timmy, who has a job watering circus animals, inadvertently frees a vicious
tiger that he thinks is tame.

7.07 "The Renegade" (10/23/60):
An injured bear hunts the orphaned fawn that Timmy and Lassie were nursing.

7.08 "The Blind Dog" (10/30/60):
Timmy's friend Bob desperately wants to earn money for an operation to cure
his blind dog, but his dad says it's useless.
Bob: Tommy Nolan.

7.09 "The Swallows of Los Pinos" (11/06/60):
Timmy and Ruth try to prove that a little chapel should not be sleighted for
destruction because a flock of swallows return there every year on the same
day, but they may not come after a hawk attacks the scout swallow.

7.10 "Sea Serpent" (11/13/60):
Timmy and Cully see odd footprints around the lake and see a strange
creature swimming, and immediately think there's a sea serpent inhabiting
the water. Cully: Andy Clyde.

7.11 "Visiting Colt" (11/20/60):
The colt Timmy is caring for while his friend is away breaks its leg, but
Timmy begs Doc Weaver to save the animal. Doc Weaver: Arthur Space.

7.12 "Little Cabbage" (11/27/60):
Flamboyant movie star Mimi Mansfield leaves her spoiled miniature poodle "Le
Petit Chou" on the farm. Mimi: Marie Windsor.

7.13 "The Big Race" (12/04/60):
Timmy is neglecting his chores to work on the go-cart he and Willy are
building for a big race and is forbidden to ride in the time trials.
Willy: Linda Wrather.
Steve: Steven Talbot.

7.14 "Bows and Arrows" (12/18/60):
Timmy and Bob build their own bows and arrows to go "hunting," but Bob hits
an unexpected target. Bob: Tommy Nolan.

7.15 "The Christmas Story" (12/25/60):
Timmy befriends a boy and girl who are running away to California with their
father--who's being chased by the sheriff. Sheriff: Robert Foulk.

7.16 "The White-Faced Bull" (01/01/61):
A neighbor's aggressive bull almost hurts Timmy and Paul threatens to kill
it if it is ever on his land again; when the bull dies from poisoning, Paul
is the first suspect.

7.17 "Apron Strings" (01/08/61):
Timmy's arithmetic homework and a litter of starving orphaned puppies figure
in a story about self- sufficiency.

7.18 "The Wild Horse" (01/15/61):
Guest Cast:
Sheriff Miller: Robert Foulk.
With Henry Wills and Red Morgan.
While collecting insects for a science project, Timmy and Lassie see a wild horse,
but no one believes it happened until his discovery is confirmed by the sheriff, who
orders the animal shot on sight. But Paul persuades two farmers to help him catch
the creature.

7.19 "The Mad Dog" (01/22/61):
The Martins adopt a little stray dog who suddenly shows all the signs of
rabies. Sheriff: Robert Foulk.

7.20 "The Trip" (01/29/61):
When the Martins take a trip to Chicago, Lassie is taken along, but her
crate falls off the baggage car enroute.

7.21 "Shadrack" (02/05/61):
Cully plays host to his old regiment's Army mule--and then he and Timmy must
save the animal when it suddenly goes mad. Cully: Andy Clyde. Sheriff:
Robert Foulk.

7.22 "The Patriot" (02/12/61):
Timmy adopts a German Shepherd from the pound to give to the Army, but the
dog is so cowed by abuse they don't want him.

7.23 "The Eagle" (02/19/61):
A vandal raids a golden eagle's nest and destroys her eggs, so Timmy gives
her a goose egg to raise.

7.24 "Cracker Jack" (02/26/61):
Timmy befriends a hillbilly boy whose parents are moving to the country and
want to give away his beloved dog. Billy Joe Yochim: Billy Hughes. Pa
Yochim: Arthur Hunnicutt. Ma Yochim: Ellen Corby.

7.25 "Cully's Hound Dog" (03/05/61):
Paul makes an innocent remark about Cully's age and the old man is
determined to give up and retire. Cully: Andy Clyde.

7.26 "The Fire Watchers" (03/12/61):
Ruth is on tower duty during a dry spell and must take action when a forest fire starts.
Ranger: Marshall Reed.
Sheriff: Robert Foulk.

7.27 "Senor Coyote" (03/19/61):
Timmy's new friend Jose's pet coyote Taquita is accused of killing area chickens.
Sheriff: Robert Foulk.

7.28 "Bessie" (03/26/61):
When the Martins think their cow is going dry, they sell her to the
slaughterhouse, not knowing there is another excuse for her lack of milk.
Bob: Michael McGreevey.

7.29 "The Pigeon" (04/02/61):
Lassie gets attached to the Army homing pigeon that Timmy nurses back to health.

7.30 "Long Chase" (04/09/61):
A carnival performer's trained dog is injured, so Lassie substitutes for
her--so well that he wants to buy her.

7.31 "The Ostrich" (04/16/61):
Timmy and Lassie meets a man who races ostriches at county fairs.

7.32 "Fools Gold" (04/23/61):
Timmy and Cully think a dead prospector's burro knows where the old man found gold.

7.33 "The Greyhound" (04/30/61):
Timmy bets Lassie's new collar that she can beat a friend's new greyhound, Pat, in a race.

7.34 "Rodeo" (05/14/61):
Timmy befriends a girl whose injured rodeo ride father is afraid to compete again.

7.35 "The Search" (05/21/61):
Lassie brings home the talking doll belonging to a lost city child, who is
trapped in an irrigation ditch.

7.36 "Timmy and the Martians" (05/28/61):
Timmy believes that the "Martian communicator" he and his friends built made an Army plane crash.
