################ Ghost Squad #################
############# about the series ###############
##############################################
Shortly after the war, Scotland Yard, worried by rising crime figures,
instituted the famous Ghost Squad which Comprised specially trained
officers out of uniform. Their job was to keep an extra close watch on
criminal activities throughout the country and often actually,to
masquerade as criminals themselves.
Ex-Detective Inspector Gosling, once in charge of the Squad, wrote
a book about his work and it forms the basis of Ghost Squad
In charge of the Ghost Squad in the series will be Sir Andrew Wilson,
who has expanded the organisation to an international level. He is
a tough and experienced police officer who picks and trains
all members of his highly capable team. Sir Andrew is played by a
real-life knight-Sir Donald Wolfit.
Says 31-year-old Michael Quinn, who plays the Ghost Squad's American
operative, Craig, the hero of the series: "Officially, the Ghost Squad
doesn't even exist. If, for example, Craig gets in a tough spot and
wants some aid there's no chance of Sir Andrew helping out. The Squad
man is the loneliest guy on earth."
Handsome six-foot Mike Quinn , describes his securing of the leading
role in Ghost Squad as " exactly like a dream."
