Summary:
Bing Crosby and Lucille Ball help Bob Hope recall his career in show business.
Bob hosts this poignant tribute to the late Bing Crosby. Utilizing film and videotape excerpts
Bob traces the extraordinary friendship between the two men from their first meeting in Vaudeville--to radio--into the movies
and the revered Road pictures--then on to television and, of course, the golf course.

’There I was,’ says Bob Hope of his 1937 screen test, ’in glorious black and white up there on the movie screen, I was awful.’
But he couldn’t have been that bad, because it was the beginning of a 40-year career. Bing Crosby and Lucille Ball help Bob recall his career in this program,
which features clips from many of Hope’s 54 movies.
At press time, producer Howard Koch expected to include excerpts from the seven Road pictures Hope made with Bing and Dorothy Lamour
(Singapore, 1940; Zanzibar, ’41; Morocco, ’42; Utopia, ’46; Rio, ’46; Bali, ’52; and Hong Kong, ’62).
Hope’s love scenes with Lucy (The facts of life, ’60), Rhonda Fleming (Alias Jesse James, ’49), and Jane Russell (The paleface, ’48),
and, from Hope’s feature-film debut, The big broadcast of 1938, the scene in which he introduced Thanks for the memory.

and Bob is Barf Vader, the baddest cat in the universe. Mark Hamill of course is the HERO.
In another sketch Bob and Mark are two kids locked in a toy store overnight.
Bob and the Muppets have a comic conversation about Christmas.
