A tribute to the comedian's 26 years on television. The two-hour special will highlight Hope's TV programs with spoofs on the "Road" movies,
a 1950 telecast featuring Frank Sinatra and Bea Lillie and a hospital sketch with David Niven.
Comedy writers Norman Lear and Neil Simon join Bob for this two-hour retrospective featuring hilarious excerpts from Bob's television shows.
"Bob Hope's World of Comedy" was a 2-hour special.

A musical salute to vaudeville with tributes to Al Jolson and Eddie Cantor.

*Note: (May 31, 1977) Bob Hope appears on "The Barbara Walters Special". Others on the show are Bing Crosby and Redd Foxx.

Trivia: Bob Hope was hoping to start production of "The Road to the Fountain of Youth" in England this summer with his buddy Bing Crosby.
"Crosby's already invested money in the script, and you know him, he's not about to blow an investment", quipped Hope,
who actually is quite concerned that Bing still remains in the hospital nearly three weeks after his 20-foot-fall from a Pasadena concert stage.
Also to be in the film is old "Road" partner Dorothy Lamour and a new part for Bernadette Peters.
