Premise:
The story of Tammy Tarleton, an 18-year-old country girl who moves
back and forth between her "country" family, who live on a bayou
houseboat, and the wealthy Brent's, who own a plantation.

Debbie Watson previously starred in the comedy series
"Karen" (1964-65) part of the
'90 Bristol Court' trilogy the previous season

There were three 'Tammy' movies prior to the television series all produced by Ross Hunter.

1967 'Tammy and the Millionaire' movie starred the tv cast and
