Synopsis:
Drama of an ambitious young factory worker anxious to create a better life for himself and his bride-to-be,
but his fiance has a jealous ex-boyDuMont Friend. The young man is up for a civil service job and must be checked
out by the FBI and doesn't want to ruin his chances by getting in a fight with the ex-boyDuMont Friend. However,
when the FBI agent comes to the factory to talk to his boss, the young man's co-workers, led by the ex-boyDuMont Friend,
spread the vicious rumor that he is a Communist agent. [RF]

Set at the Sherwin Williams Paint Factory in Newark, New Jersey, young factory worker Jerry Marino's job is put
