Brief Synopsis:
Shiloh becomes the temporary refuge for Cath Contrell (Leslie) and her half
Indian son when she returns to Medicine Bow after the death of the Shoshone
chief who had taken her in a raid several years before. Cath has relatives
in town, but she hasn't come back to make a happy reconciliation with
them--she's seeking revenge on her husband who deserted her during the
Indian attack. However, she becomes torn between her desire for vengeance
and her daughter's happiness when she finds the girl is about to be given in
marriage.
