The Title "THE VIRGINIAN" by permission of EMKA, LTD.
series regular characters appearing in this episode: The Virginian, Clay,
Holly, and Elizabeth Grainger, Trampas, Jim Horn, Harper, Jean, Sheriff
Abbott, Bart the Bartender, Cecil
Brief Synopsis:
The Virginian is attracted to a beautiful "artist-reporter" (Baker) who is
out
West on her first assignment for the "Boston Review". Although she
would like
to return his affections she can't forget her past and feels a strange
disturbing pull toward a prominent businessman (Beir) who reminds her of
someone from back in Boston--possibly the man who had robbed her home and
killed her husband and young son.
Also in this episode: Medicine Bow's fair with Sophia the "pink legged"
trapeze artist. Story time on the range when a can of condensed milk
starts Trampas' yarn about a hoop snake while it reminds the Virginian of
Julie and how sweet she is. (bj)
