Brief Synopsis:
Ryker's beloved stepfather Abe Clayton (Nolan) arrives in Medicine Bow after
serving a ten year prison term.  Emmett wants Abe to stay on good terms with
the law, but although he pretends to go straight Clayton is amassing a gang
to help him pull off the "big job."  Ryker senses the deception but wants to
believe he can persuade his stepfather to abandon any plans for wrongdoing.
Yet his anguish over the matter intensifies when he learns a childhood
friend intends to marry a member of the gang.
