US Sci-Fi Drama series 1967-68    43 episodes x 60 min color
starring
Roy Thinnes
as Architect David Vincent
recurring guest star
Kent Smith as Edgar Scoville (season 2)
(the one man in a position of authority who believes David Vincent)

"The Invaders - aliens beings from a dying planet.
Their destination - the earth.
Their purpose to make it their world.
David Vincent has seen them.
For him it began one lost night on a lonely country road,
looking for a short-cut that he never found.
It began with a closed deserted diner, and a man too long
without sleep to continue his journey.
It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy.
Now, David Vincent knows the Invaders are here;
that they have taken human form.
Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare
has already begun"

The narrator voice was William Woodson ("alien beings from a dying planet...").
And
Hank Sims was the announcer (the guy who introduced the
names of the guest stars and episode names each week).

Hello - I stumbled on "The Invaders" web site, and you asked:
Can anyone tell me the name of the person who did the voice-over
introduction to the episodes every week? He was not credited.
My father, William T. Woodson, did all the intros and all the narration
within the body of the show from the very first episode.  He's still working
full-time, and will be 82 on July 16, 2002.  These days he mostly does voice-overs for commercials.
