"Planet of the Shapes", as astronaut Shag Borden (Bob Hope) discovers a planet inhabited
by women and 18 ladies from Dr. Joyce Brothers to Sally Struthers give the astronaut a hard
time in this broad space comedy.
*Note: Bob Hope makes his entrance on a "moon rover" made in the NBC prop shop.
It delighted him so, he wants to use it in his Golf Classic next year.

Bob and his guests perform in sketches in this "Satire Tonight" Special.
Highlights:
Bob, as a liberal youngster has John Wayne playing his Sheriff Dad in an "All in the Family" takeoff.
In another skit Bob becomes a college freshman with an eye on coed Debbie Reynolds and college senior Jack Benny.
Still other segments find Bob playing the U.S. envoy to China in a sketch called "Our Man in Pepking" with the Osmond Brothers.
A spoof on the movie "Carnal Knowledge".
Debbie Reynolds sings and dances to "Forget Your Troubles".
The Osmond Brothers sing "Down By the Lazy River" and "I Want a Girl, Just Like the Girl, That Married Dear Old Dad" with Bob.
