Highlights:
Bing Crosby sings "I Can't Begin to Tell You" and duets a "road" song with Hope.
"Bonanza" take-off with Bing as Ben Cartwright and Bob as all three sons.
Lucille Ball plays a district attorney, turns up dealing with Bob in a gangster sketch,
this is the show where Bob slides his hands down Lucille Ball's dress.
Juliet Prowse dances to "Twelfth Street Rag".
*Note: Since her previous appearance on this show drew hundreds of letters accusing her of vulgarity,
Juliet Prowse has toned down her dance considerably.

Highlights:
Bob and Jack do a take-off of "Bird Man of Alcatraz" called "Bird Brain of Alcatraz".
A riverboat gambling skit with Ethel, Jack (playing the fiddle) and Bobby play card sharps out to fleece a gullible Hope.
Ethel Merman sings "This Is It".
Bobby Darin sings "All of Me".
Bob also shows highlights from his command performance at the London Palladium with Queen Elizabeth in attendance.

*Note: News item: There is a possibility that Burt Lancaster, who produced "Bird Man of Alcatraz" may decide to stop Hope
from doing the skit. If he does, they'll substitute an old taped routine. This would be unfortunate for Hope lavished a great deal
of time and money on the "Bird Brain of Alcatraz" skit - he had more than 200 birds on the premises.

Synopsis:
Jack and Bob do a comedy routine. The sketch is similar to the one done on the show of Feb 24, 1957:
Hope and Benny play a pair of vaudevillians trying to get a job, and in the agent's office several
other vaudeville acts are demonstrated, including a young boy who imitates Jimmy Durante.

Anita Bryant sings.

Bob Hope: You know when the Russian cosmonauts landed, Khrushchev kissed them.
When our astronauts land, President Kennedy only shakes their hands. We may be behind in the space race,
but at least we know what we're whistling at.
But there was a wonderful Christmas spirit in Washington this year ...
the Kennedys held a drive to raise money to buy toys for needy Republicans.
Mort Lachman and Bob Hope who spent hours editing this documentary received a 1963 EMMY Award,
a Golden Globe Award as well as a TV Guide Award.

Martha Raye and Dean Martin join Bob Hope for tonight's show, which concludes with the presentation of the fourth annual TV Guide Awards
to winners selected by thousands of TV guide readers in final balloting. Bob Hope and TV Guide publisher James T. Quirk make the presentations in Hollywood.
Arthur Schulman, assistant to the publisher, does the honors in New York.
Highlights:
"The Rating Investigator" finds Congressman Bilge (Bob) badgering the popular star (Dean) of a hillbilly series. In "Calling Miss Nightingale",
TV's Dr. Kilroy (Bob) and Nurse Nightingale (Martha) are having script problems, they've run out of diseases.
Martha sings "I'll Remember April".
Dean sings "A Face in the Crowd".

Raymond Burr plays Peter, Tudor Owen plays Thomas and Thayer Roberts plays John.
