There was an original novel based on the series
' Operation Goldkill: Codename Jericho' by Bruce Cassiday (Award: 1967).

British actor John Leyton also appeared in the 1963 motion picture
'The Great Escape', and had a number 1 hit in the UK in 1961 with 'Johnny Remember Me'.

The British character, named Nicholas Gage, was also the name of a real life author, Nicholas Gage, who wrote
'The Mafia is Not an Equal Opportunity Employer' (1971)
