"THE KNOTS LANDING BLOCK PARTY" (documentary)
This documentary features Joan Van Ark, Kevin Dobson, Michele Lee, and Ted
Shackelford sitting in director's chairs in the center of the cul-de-sac,
recounting a lot of Knots' best scenes (clips) and discussing the ones that
had the greatest effects on them. In taped interview segments, Lisa Hartman
Black, Julie Harris, Constance McCashin, William Devane (who gently cuts
down the decision to kill off Laura), and Nicollette Sheridan (there may
have been another) discuss their memories of Knots Landing. The program
also features clips of fans talking about how everything stopped on
Thursday nights when they watched Knots, and a brief list (with still
photos) of other actors who had appeared on the show. At the closing
credits, Michele Lee and Joan Van Ark decide to do a loud version of the
theme song, singing 'da, da-DA DA DA, dada DA, dadada DA.' At the very end,
Ted Shackelford says, "We'll never work in this town again!" as everyone doubles
over laughing.

Treadwell.................. Daniel Gerroll
Tom Ryan helps Paige and Greg disarm the bomb. Val arrives from Florida in
disguise and contacts Gary. She says that
she was kidnapped because she caught on to Robeson and Treadwell, and that it
was one of the kidnappers that was killed
in the car that exploded. Mack, Karen, and Meg return from New York and are
shocked to learn that Val is alive. Vanessa
kills Treadwell before he could kill Nick. In exchange for her shares of the
Sumner Group, Greg gets Claudia a job as
a curator in a museum in Monaco, five million dollars, and a savings account for
Kate. Meanwhile, Treadwell's partner
is revealed to be Abby Fairgate. She proceeds with her plot to take over the
Sumner Group, but Nick and Anne sell
information to Greg that can stop her. Anne leaves Greg and Knots Landing with
Nick, but first tells Paige to follow her
heart. Kate leaves town to go back to college so that Gary and Val can resume
their lives. Anne and Nick celebrate their
financial windfall from Greg and Abby by going to Paris, which, they learn as
they board the airplane, is exactly where
Claudia is going, too! Greg tells Abby that if she doesn't end the takeover
attempt, he'll use the information Anne sold
him to send her to prison. Now that she owns 2/3 of the Sumner Group, Paige
tells Greg she wants his office, then they
kiss. As the Ewings and MacKenzies plan a barbecue at the cul-de-sac, Karen and
Val become nostalgic when they see a
couple moving into Frank's house. Just then, Abby arrives and announces to the
very surprised neighbors that she bought
Claudia's house. "Just like old times," she muses before walking into her new
house, leaving Karen good-naturedly
shaking her head.
