Synopsis:
Richard Diamond agrees to work for a percentage of an inheritance if he can prove his client
is the rightful heir to an $84,OOO hoard found in the junk-filled shack of an elderly beachcomber
who died in a fall, on "Richard Diamond Private Detective," Sunday (CBS 9-9:30 p.m.).
The case appears to be a routine matter until teen-aged Carol Walker tells Diamond she and her
boyfriend heard a shout and saw a man hurrying away from the beach shack at about the time old
Homer Wilkerson fell to his death. Detective McCormack discloses that Wilkerson's nephew, Stuart Hiker,
has claimed the fortune, and indicates the case is settled. However, Diamond refuses to be convinced
Wilkerson's death was accidental and heads back to the beach in search of a clue. [RF]
