E-mail from Ed Maxcy:-
"When I was 24 I played the role of a newsboy on "The Line-up", in an
episode entitled "The G.I. Shoe Case". It was about a five-minute
scene with Warner Anderson and Tom Tully. Ever since the advent of
video I've been trying to obtain a copy of the episode, but with no success.
I'm now 68 years old and just now I came across your website and learned
that it was episode #147, aired on 5 June 1958 which was, apparently,
the 34th episode of the 4th season. Can you help me obtain a copy?
I can certainly share with you my own memories of the circumstances relating
to the shooting of the scene, which was quite a memorable event in my life.
Though I've appeared in quite a few television progams since then,
"The Line-Up/San Francisco Beat" was the first time I acted in a major network TV series.
