As a film collector (16mm) I restore and preserve
8,super8 and 16mm silent/sound. This is for those who wish to convert
the film to dvd. I remember the series SAN FRANCISCO BEAT aka 'THE LINEUP'. Both
as network shows then in "syndication.
When KPIX re-ran the series in the early 60's, some idiot "edited" out the
acknowledgement of the S.F poilice chief!.
I have 10 episodes that I have had for several years on 16mm. They are in
pristine condition. Coated with vitafilm
and cleaned.
