Premise:
Based upon the 1951 motion picture in which Mayehoff starred
with Jerry Lewis, this series was based upon the same premise --
that of a retired football star who constantly tries to make
a "man" out of his bookish intellectual son "Junior" through
a variety of efforts which inevitably fail.

Synopsis:
Jack is pleased to hear that an alumnus is going to give money
to the athletic department. When Junior hears of this, he grows
angry. The boy feels that his science teacher is the one who needs
the endowment.

Jack sends Junior to spend the weekend at the home of the local
football hero. The football hero is far more impressed by
