George Payne, influenced by his friend Jim Garson (Donald Curtis) is ready to
leave his insurance
job and head to South America for the opportunity of a lifetime – cornering the
market on
car insurance in the southern hemisphere. That is until his common sense wife,
Ellie points out
that very few people have cars in that part of the world.

Ellie is away for a few weeks, and George and young Johnny hire a housekeeper –
cranky old
Abigail Sneed (played by Georgia Simmons). She in intolerable – that is, until
she saves the day
by recognizing the man George is about to invest a great deal of money with (Al
Orwell, played
by Blair Davies) as a wanted felon. [RL]
