Synopsis 1:
Gracie writes an article for LOOK MAGAZINE.; The article is about her life with George. To make the article
a wee bit more interesting, she fabricates a story about George beating u p a hardened criminal named Silky Thompson.
Of course, the article leads Silky to seek revenge and leads him right to the Burns' home. After a series of Gracie's
trademark madcap mix-ups, Silky is apprehended by the authorities. [RL]

Gracie writes a magazine story claiming that George once beat up a gangster.
Synopsis 3:
TV Guide attempts to get Gracie to write a story for the magazine.

Gracie hears a neighbor's footsteps in the middle of the night, and alarms the community with a burglar scare.
When Harry Morton goes to his garage to turn off car lights the incident touches off a comedy of errors. [JB]

Gracie believes that George wants to buy a ranch. Harry Morton and his partner Casey want to be the ones to sell it to him.
But George does not really want to buy a ranch, and, perhaps ill-advisedly, relies on Harry Von Zell to help him get out of it.

Gracie decides to buy a ranch for George, but George doesn't want one and

as she tries to remember her name is Mabel Von Zell. In one memorable exchange of dialogue, sweetheart Dorothy says,
"I imagined your wife would be taller," to which Gracie responds, "Oh, sometimes I am. In the winter,
when the days are shorter, I'm taller."

Harry von Zell finds himself with two wives when Gracie and Blanche try to help

Synopsis 1:
Gracie must testify against a bank robber (Sheldon Leonard); George plans to
sing at a dinner for Ronald Reagan.
Synopsis 2:
Gracie is called to testify as a bank holdup witness, but the robber has other
ideas. [JB]
Synopsis 3:
Gracie witnesses a bank stickup headed by a Mob boss. When they kidnap her to keep her from testifying, they can't
seem to get rid of her fast enough. Instead they decide to steal George away, but plenty of mistaken identities ensue.
Gracie as the fumbling kidnappee is absolutely hysterical, and you can't miss the cameo appearance by the man who at
the time was known only as an actor, Ronald Reagan as himself.
