Synopsis:
It’s 1860 in the Australian frontier settlement of Cobar Springs. The town is
rugged
and so is its brand of justice. Blacksmith Jack Rigger wants to lynch the man he thinks
killed his son. The man - an ex-convict who recently arrived in town. But the townspeople
are persuaded to hold a trial, the first in Cobar Springs. And Rigger is compelled
to serve as defense counsel for the man he wants to string up. [RF]
