News item: Lowell Sun February 20, 1950.
Due to important cases on which their presence will be required at superior
court this week Capt. John J. Murray and Inspector Francis J. O'Dea
declined an offer to appear on a television program, "The Black Robe", Thursday
February 23, 1950.
Murray and O'Dea had been invited last week by John B. Green of "The Black Robe"
program to be guest speakers on the television show
after two juveniles who committed a burglary in Andover gave themselves up to
the local police after witnessing "The Black Robe" program.
