The year 1651 finds England torn within herself. The long bitter
struggle between Royalists and Cromwell has reached its climax
at the battle of Worcester, where the troops of the young King,
Charles Stuart are hopelessly outnumbered by Cromwell's iron
cavalry. However Captain Duval, a French cavalry officer and
friend of the King, arrives to help the King escape - but that
is only the beginning of a series of thrilling adventures.
