When a third victim falls prey to the `Wetherton Choker', the only clue Dalziel and Pascoe have to his
identity is that following each murder, someone calls the local newspaper and quotes from Hamlet. As
more and more victims are strangled, the hunt for their killer intensifies.

Thirty years after an elderly woman dies in her garden, a spate of mysterious fatalities at her great

behind bars. Now Dalziel himself is under investigation for her wrongful conviction. To prove his actions were not
unprofessional, he has to reinterview suspects and witnesses from the original murder case in 1963.

 When a young clubber is found dead, the crime-fighting duo are under pressure to find out who might have dealt
the drugs which evidently killed him. They start to scrutinise the boy's social circle and are keen to discover
