Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, who has musically reigned supreme at
Christmastime these many years, is being
challenged this year by a new tune, "Lem, the Orphan Reindeer," which makes its
debut on Channel 11's "Upbeat,"
contemporary variety colorcast Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
Kathy Garver, the television actress from "The Family Affair" series, will have
a group of youngsters with her when
she presents this new melody on the variety show. She will also serve as co-host
for the program, along with regular
host Don Webster.
