Premise:
"The Las Vegas Show" was broadcast live five nights weekly from the
300-seat theater at the Hotel Hacienda
in the Nevada gambling center
Premiered on the new United Network, of about 125 stations - including WPIX New
York, WGN Chicago, KHJ Los Angeles,
WHDH Boston, and WTVJ Miami.
Oliver E. Treyz was the president of the new United Network - but it lasted only
a month when sponsors and local
stations weren't supportive of the new venture, in effect killing the
programming as well.
