[verified -RL]
original airdate not known
synopsis:
A grown-up Kevin narrates the story each week, as he looks back at the year 1919
(when he was 12).
In the episode titled “Uncle Terrence Balances The Books,” John Acton can never
tell by Terrence’s
record keeping as to whether the candy shop is in the red or in the black.
Terrence feels that the problem
can be remedied by getting one of those newfangled cash register machines. He
gets one on loan, locks
everyone’s valuables and all their cash inside, and then can’t figure out how to
get it open again. [RL]
