Sam. Tony's kitchen is chosen for a new commercial.

Mrs. Rossini goes on vacation and Tony shall take care of her
cat. In the course of this Tony meets old friends and when the
four celebrate their reunion, Angela comes by. They decide to go
bowling. But shortly before they go Angela opens the window and
the cat disappears. Therefore Angela stays to wait for the cat.
Doing this she falls asleep and has a dream: she and Tony are
married and are living together in Brooklyn.

Sam has fallen for that man. When Tony finds this out, he invites
Andrew. And Andrew comes - accompanied by his wife.

Tony wants to build up his friend Pee Wee whose wife has left
him. With him, Tony visits a bar to search for a new girlfriend
for him. Doing this the 'Micelli-charm' strikes again and Jo
fixes a date with Tony. Because actually he doesn't want to go
out with her he cancels this date telling her some lies. One day
later he has to notice that this Jo is Dr. Powell, the lecturer
in his new seminar.

Fearing she could lose these friends she tells that she has an
affair with Tony. But this rumor is spreading fast and finally
reaches Tony.

Tony has finally picked a major: economy. But he needs one
more course, a go-through if possible. This course is teaching
observation. But the teacher in this class, he is assigned to,
is not satisfied with observation alone. So Tony finds himself
facing the kids - alone. The first day is a clear win for the
kids, but after the second day Tony's decision is certain: he
wants to become a teacher.

Jonathan is given the accordion in the school's band and as a result
he is jeered at. Tony wants to give him back his self-confidence
and engages his old friend Bobby as accordion teacher. But then when
Jonathan spends a lot of time playing and especially with Bobby,
Jonathan and Tony fall out.

When the neighbor Fred picks up Tony to go playing tennis, he makes
up to Angela and Tony gets angry. During the tennis match Fred suffers
a heart attack and dies. Now Tony blames himself of Fred's death.
When Fred's brother Ed shows up Tony let himself be used because of
his feelings of guilt.

Sam and her boyfriend Eric want to attend a concert. But Eric
usually spends the evenings with his (widowed) grandfather. So
Tony gets an idea: Mona should instead spend the evening with him.
But then when it turns out that Eric's grandfather is the man, who
Mona let down 40 years ago at the wedding, the general feeling is
at zero level.

the supervisor is: Tony. Mona and Sam are able to persuade Angela
to go with them to look after Tony. In Florida Sam realizes that
she's more similar to Tony than she has ever thought.

Brett and Jane. Brett and Jane know each other for six years and are
quite similar to Angela and Tony. The same evening Brett proposes to
Jane. The following evenings the four spend a lot of time together,
but it seems there are already some tensions between Brett and Jane,
not at last because of the upcoming marriage.

Mona's apartment is uninhabitable after a mishap with her fireplace
and she lives now for some days at Angela's. She indicates that she
wants a little bit more room for living and Angela presents her the
offer to get her a condo. Mona gets furious by that thought. Some
time later Tony has to take her to hospital and she must be
operated at the gall bladder.
