Synopsis:
When Hart Bosworth is killed in his apothecary shop, bumbling constables Boris
Karloff and Patrick MacNee ("The Avengers")
quickly pin the murder on creepy Albert Ketch. But Hart's brother, George,
aboard a ship 150 miles away, "sees" the
murder in a vision that swirls around in a bowl of water and knows that Albert
most definitely isn't the killer.

Synopsis:
John Prescott stops to help pretty Lila Kirby whose sports car has run out of
gas at the side of a road. After drinks at a local
cocktail lounge are spoiled by a jittery bartender, unnerved by Lila's presence,
they rendezvous later that evening in the woods.
Unfortunately, the infatuated John is startled by Lila's sudden disappearance
moments after her invalid uncle, Morgan Debs, solemnly
arrives to tell John that he must he ever met the young woman. Why? According

Synopsis:
After a long sea voyage Captain John Elwood's (Boris Karloff) celebration at a
19th century Mariner's Club is cut short when his wife
jealously yanks the food off the banquet table. Feigning forgiveness the
Captain, lets his wife accompany him on his next ocean journey.
Though she believes her husband wants to patch up their failed marriage, he
slowly poisons her to death instead. Pretending to be in
mourning and spending time in the company of a wealthy widow. The Captain pays
another visit to the Mariner's Club only to find that the
vengeful spirit of his wife once again play havoc with a banquet in his honor

Synopsis:
In a small Italian village, a dying young girl quickly needs a doctor. But since
Dr Marcabienti (Boris Karloff) is off treating an old lady,
his visiting son Angelo, a surgeon at a "big city hospital", goes in his place.
Not knowing who Angelo is, the little girl's family refuses
to allow him to operate on the girl. "We'll wait for the doctor!" Fortunately an
oddly silent Dr. Marcabienti finally arrives and, though he
doesn't speak his mere presence lets Angelo perform the operation. Except that
Dr. Marcabienti was home sound asleep the entire time ... [DM]

has a will that leaves everything to him, and hr promptly kicks John off the
property and plans on selling the farm and dumping
Ma in an old folks home. The Lawyer and John try to break the will in court. But
