Summary:
Insight was a series designed to explore Judaism and its role in human affairs
and was presented by the Earl Warren Institute of Ethics and Human Relations
and the Patron Society of the University of Judaism in cooperation with KNXT.
Jazz Hebraica was created by Cantor Allen Michaelson and musician-composer-musicologist
Fred Katz and is an exciting experiment in living Judaism that was commissioned
by Adolph Hochman. Michaelson performs Lukrat Shabbat, the Shema, Kiddish,
Mi cha mocha and Akiba with the Paul Horn Quintet (Horn, Lynn Blessing, Mike Melvoin,
Bill Plummer, Chuck Carter, and John Fizano [RF]
