Lassie, half-drowned after saving a coyote puppy from rapids, but is rescued
by Ron Holden and Dale Mitchell, who are on a hiking trip.


18.02 "Search for Yesterday":
Ron and Dale search for a hidden treasure while enroute home.

18.03 "Trouble Tracks":

Lassie befriends the mascot of an old railroad spur line. Benji

18.04 "Wings of the Ghost":
The boys and Lassie sleep in an old barn that appears to be haunted.

18.05 "Homecoming":
Ron and Dale return to the Holden Ranch, where Lassie is welcomed by Garth
Holden and his foster sons.

18.06 "Orphan of the Wild":
Mike, the new boy, is feeling shy until he helps nurse an injured owl.

18.07 "Day of Disaster":
An earthquake separates Lassie from Garth and strands her in town.

18.08 "The Schemer":
A mischievous raccoon causes trouble for the ranch as well as Mike.

18.09 "The Flying Grandpa":
Mike befriends an elderly man (Richard Haydn) who crash-landed his
hang-glider on the ranch grounds and falls for the man's tall tales.

18.10 "Mustang" part 1:
An older stallion attempts to escape a mustang roundup.

18.11 "Mustang" part 2:
Lassie and Dale attempt to save the stallion from ranchers who want him
destroyed.

18.12 "Roundup":

A cattle roundup endangers Garth and Dale.

merry chase.

Garth takes Lassie with him on his visit to Vandenberg Air Force Base, where
they meet Jimmy, a boy who has given up believing he will ever walk
normally. Jimmy: Sean Kelly.

18.15 "Peace is Our Profession" part 2:
Lassie protects a snow goose who has chosen to lay her eggs on the
flightline.

18.16 "Peace is Our Profession" part 3:
Lassie befriends a diabetic poodle who stows away on the Looking Glass,
where there's no insulin, to be with his owner (Gary Collins).

18.17 "Peace is Our Profession" part 4:
Jimmy finds out that his father's flight may crash. Jimmy: Sean Kelly.

18.18 "Paths of Courage" part 1:
Garth takes Jimmy back to the ranch with him, where he meets Lucy Baker, a
girl who has been deaf most of her life. Jimmy: Sean Kelly.

18.19 "Paths of Courage" part 2:
It's Jimmy who must go for help when Lucy's pet wolf Mountie is shot. Jimmy:
Sean Kelly.

Garth's brother Keith is met with resentment when he takes over running the
ranch.

Lassie pursues a colt that escapes from the Baker ranch.

19.04 "Scarecrow":
A crow that snatches Mike's wallet leaves the boy angry and determined to
find the animal.

19.05 "Tell It to the Birds":
An Indian and his pet wild birds save Lassie from a trap.

19.06 "Deadly Surf":
Lassie must rescue three kittens from the incoming tide.

19.07 "Golden Eagle":
Lassie has an encounter with an eagle.

19.08 "A Taste of Freedom":
Lassie befriends a racehorse so nervous that he can't complete a race.

19.09 "Run to Nowhere" part 1:
A runaway orphan is taken in at the ranch, but is distrustful of everyone.

19.10 "Run to Nowhere" part 2:
Joey runs away when he finds out he has to leave the ranch.

19.11 "Vigil of the Stork":
The Holdens are afraid Karl will not survive after a heart attack robs his
will to live.

19.12 "A Girl and a Boy" part 1:
A small deaf boy (Moosie Drier) is found wandering the grounds of the ranch
and Lucy, communicating with him in sign language, discovers he feels no one
wants him.

19.13 "A Girl and a Boy" part 2:
Deprived of the dog the Holdens have given him, the boy (Moosie Drier)
flees.

19.14 "The Visitor":
Benji guest-stars as a city mutt who must learn country ways from Lassie.

19.15 "Dream Builder":
A Chicano man searches for a piece of land that will be his own.

19.16 "Challenge of the Mountain" part 1:
Dale, riding Midnight and accompanied by Lassie, is injured when he falls
from the horse.

19.17 "Challenge of the Mountain" part 2:
Midnight and Lassie must go for help when Dale cannot move.

19.18 "Legend of the Coyote":
Lassie's determined to retrieve the puppy stolen from the Holden barn by a
coyote.

19.19 "Horsenappers":
Two bumbling horse thieves steal Midnight, but runs afoul of Lassie.

19.20 "A Joyous Sound" part 1:
Lucy, on her way to the city for surgery that may restore her hearing, is
crushed when Lassie is lost enroute.

19.21 "A Joyous Sound" part 2:
Lassie, attempting to find her way home, is suspected of rabies and hunted
down.

19.22 "A Joyous Sound" part 3:
Lassie, leaving the friends she made on the beach, heads for home.

19.23 "Johnny Piper":
Lucy trades lessons in home to a young drifter who is teaching her guitar.

19.24 "The Dawning":
Lassie tracks down the Baker calf, on the loose and endangered by predators.
