Subject : OSS episode #19 "Operation Barbeque"
This episode was actually filmed aboard one of my companies vessels (Saint
line) whilst we were in London. We were asked for the use of the vessel for
a couple of days, when in fact the engine room was in use for the film for
considerably longer, and usual shipboard activities were curtailed for the
duration. Nevertheless it was an interesting experience, and I was asked for
the best place for a bomb to be hidden, my advice to place it adjacent to
the ***** was used. My only regret that going to sea I never was able
to see the episode!!
After some 10 years with the company I have no film (except photographs) of
our ships engine rooms, Are episodes of OSS available?
Regards Gordon Flowers
