Hi, My husband, Dick Watson, was the chief cameraman on this show and the entire crew was
nominated for an Emmy. The show was done under the auspices of Paramount and the entire
crew came out of KTLA-TV. It was done out at the old Janss Ranch in Thousand Oaks.
It was the first big step towards taking television out of the studios and it succeeded.
thanks, Judy Watson
p.s. I was 20 years old, newly married and drove out there just to see him as they worked
them day and night. I actually have a framed picture of Dick on the camera with a horseman
in the background. It was a great time for television.
